It's been a fun day in the secondary wing today! "Anything but a backpack" has been a success! It's so fun to see the school spirit shining bright! Tomorrow is Blue & Gold Day!
On Monday, October 16th the sophomore class (along with some juniors and seniors) will be taking the ASVAB test. They will be testing at 9:00 am. This is a aptitude test that provides students with an idea of their strengths and skill set. Please look at the attached linked if you want to learn more about the test. The ASVAB test can potentially meet graduation requirements if a qualifying score is obtained.

This last weekend the WV FFA Chapter had 15 members attend the State FFA Fall Leadership Conference which was held at CSU. This conference promoted being a BOLD leader. THANK you to our chaperones, Travis & Oneida Petrino, their assistance was greatly appreciated!
The Class of 2025 will be serving the following meal deal tonight at the games; taco soup, cheese quesadilla, and mini cheesecake for dessert. Can't wait to see you there!
The Weldon Valley PTO has rescheduled their October meeting from Wednesday to this Thursday at 4 pm.
Good morning. We have decided to move the powder puff football game and the gorilla volleyball game to Wednesday this week. The times of the events will remain the same with Mom tackle at 5:30, Powder Puff at 6, Pancake Supper at 6:45 and Gorilla Volleyball at 7:30. Thanks

Due to the FFA Falll Conference this weekend, the Paint the Streets will be moved from 9 am to 3:30 pm on Sunday to allow for those members to participate in this activity.

Your student attended a graduation meeting on Tuesday the 3rd. They received an information packet which includes product and order information for
caps & gowns, graduation announcements, senior keepsakes and class rings. Orders placed by October 17th will receive a free delivery fee. All orders must be placed by Monday, October 31st. (Student are only required to order the Cap, Gown and Tassel Unit)
SOPHOMORE Parents and Guardians,
Your student will be receiving a class ring packet next week during advisory. All of the information you need will be inside of that packet.

A big Thank You to Premier Farm Credit for sponsoring the Gro Program Grant. Dane Johnston was the recipient last year, and he completed his exit interview this week. He used this grant in his construction Supervised Agricultural Experience Program.
