We hope to see you between 4:00pm-8:00pm.
These will be a quick check in, so we ask you please minimize your visits to 10 minutes each! We have also asked teachers to take their last conference at 7:45 to ensure we can wrap things up by 8pm. If you feel you need more time to discuss things with your student’s teachers, we are always willing to make arrangements for an additional time to meet!
The Junior High Volleyball games tonight vs Prairie will include an A and B game. B game begins at 4 with A to follow. Each girl can have up to 4 people attend. There will be a sign in sheet on the table as you enter the gym. If your athlete plays both A and B you can attend both games. Please email me at gedson@weldonvalley.org if you have any questions.
On March 16th, sophomores will take the Accuplacer exam for MCC. This is one of the assessments we use for graduation requirements. All sophomores must have an S number from MCC. In order to do this, sophomores need to register/apply for MCC. This does NOT cost anything. Please do this ASAP!!
Any junior or senior student wishing to take the Accuplacer is also welcome to take the assessment. If you haven't already registered with MCC, you will need to do that, and then let Mrs. Chisum know you have completed the registration. If you are already registered, just let Mrs. Chisum know you want to take the test!

Hello Warrior Family-
Tomorrow we welcome Bobby Jones to Weldon Valley! We will have an assembly for Grades 5-8 from 8:00 am-8:45 am and Grades 9-12 from 9:00 am-9:45 am. Bobby will be with us for the next SIX Mondays!
If you were given a permission slip to meet in a small group with Bobby Jones, please have your parent/guardian sign and return those to Mrs. Chisum in the morning!

Two new Warriors were inducted into Weldon Valley High School’s National Honor Society last night! We would like to Congratulate- Piper Scott and Aeriel Mese - who were inducted based on scholarship, service, leadership, and character! They have joined members (pictured left to right) Wesley Shaver, Kaytlyn Keating, Hope Baessler, LizAnne Jones, and (not pictured) Kaitlyn Gallegos. Mrs. Schnabel, club advisor also pictured.

Monday, February 22nd, FFA members brought in farm equipment and animals to teach the elementary student about agriculture. The weather gave everyone a great day of learning and experiencing the FFA students' knowledge over agriculture.
On Tuesday, February 23rd, FFA members showed appreciation to the staff of Weldon Valley by sponsoring a luncheon for them. Staff enjoyed a grilled lunch of hamburgers, hotdogs, and brats down in the AG shop. A token gift was given to show appreciation as well.
On Tuesday afternoon of the February 23rd, the FFA officers held a 8th Grade Orientation to introduce and answer any questions about the AG Ed program and FFA. The officers presented a short power point as a review of the program and FFA, gave a scored quiz with rewarding the top seven placings, and organized a team competition. At the end of the orientation, Mrs. Heid shared photos of past events while the 8th graders got an afternoon snack.
