Today the 7th grade class attended Morgan Community College's STEM Festival. Our day was filled with fun, laughter and lots of learning!
Yesterday, Jordan Iungrich participated in the third annual Entrepreneurship Fair (E-Fair) at Wiggins Middle School and High School. The E-Fair provided an exciting opportunity for students in grades 6-12 to show their entrepreneurial ideas. This year, 106 middle and high school students attended the fair.
Jordan developed a unique business idea, created a business plan, and prepared a budget—all of which she submitted to the judges before the competition. During the event, a panel of judges spoke with the competitors. The top five middle and high school participants received a monetary prize to support their start-up ventures. Although Jordan didn’t secure a top spot this time, she plans to participate again next year. Way to go, Jordan! We’re incredibly proud of you.
Reminder! All eligible 7th graders who are going to the MCC STEM day tomorrow, you need to bring a lunch from home. We will be leaving the school around 7:45 and will be back around 3:00.
Kyra Keating and Ellie Koch are named Members of thr Month for May. Please see their profile to learn more about them!
