Here is the info from Otis about the football games on Friday night.
Otis High School Football Plan
Until a change in a variance
175 spectators
25 Participants on the field during activity
Teams
1. Otis will use entrance on the east side and visiting teams will use entrance on west side.
2. Otis will dress in locker rooms and use the concession stand storage for half time.
3. Visiting team will use the bus barn to the south of the field before and after game, there is a bathroom in there for them. They can use it at half time or just use the end zone on the south side.
4. Otis will be on the east side of the field and visitors will be on the west side.
5. 25 participants will be the count on the field playing the activity, does not include the sideline.
6. Bottled water or separate water bottles only.
7. No hand shaking after game, wave from across the field
8. No greeting athletes on the field after the game. (Please social distance as much as we can so we do not have to shut this program down.)
Goals
1. Keep communities separated
a. Separate bathrooms= Otis will use the ones on their side of the field and we will have a porta-potty on the opposing side.
b. Separate concession stand. We will only be selling drinks and package candy. (If we have concessions, still waiting for information)
2. Use social distancing as much as possible and when you can’t social distance, you can wear a mask
Safety
1. If you have grandparents or at risks people who would like to watch from their cars, I will reserve spots for them, just let me know ahead of time. 970-630-2141
2. We will have hand sanitizers on each side of the football fields.
If you have any concerns or just would like to talk before the game, my phone number is 970-630-2141.
Thank you and praying for a safe return to high schools sports.
