The bus will leave at 2:15 tomorrow afternoon for our games at Peetz. Each player is allowed 2 fans for the game. The B boys and girls play at 4:30 and the A boys and girls will play at 5:30. We will be back in Weldona at approximately 8 pm. The boys games will be live streamed on our athletics facebook page. The girls games will be streamed on Peetz youtube page. Update for Junior High Basketball at Wiggins: All games will be played in one gym. Game times are as follows: Girls B-4:00 Girls A-5:00 Boys B-6:00 Boys A- 7:00 All games will be livestreamed on out athletics Facebook page. For parents: Anyone is welcome to attend the game, you can now have more than 2 people per athlete. It will cost $5 to get into the game. The bus will return to Weldona at the conclusion of the boys games. If players would like to ride home early with their parents, they can, but MUST sign off with the Lucinda Filter, she will be the bus driver tomorrow. 4th grade learned how mining changes the earth.

Here is the Junior High Basketball schedule for the week.  We play at Wiggins on Wednesday beginning at 4 PM.  We will be playing in both gyms at Wiggins.  The boys and girls B teams will play at 4 and the A teams to follow.  Each athlete is allowed 2 fans each and masks must be worn at all times in the school.  We will leave school at 3 that day.  We will be live streaming the games on our facebook pages. We also play at Peetz on Friday beginning at 4:30 PM.  Again, they will be using 2 gyms.  We will leave the school at 2:15 on Friday.  The boys and girls B games will be at 4:30 and we will play a 10 minute running clock for a C team game as well.  The boys games will be livestreamed on our athletics facebook page.  The girls games will be on Peetz page.  I will send out links as it gets closer.  Each player will be allowed 2 fans as well and masks need to be worn.  Please email me at gedson@weldonvalley.org if you have any questions or concerns.  

Here is the information for the Junior High basketball games at Fleming on Saturday.  B Girls will play at 10 am, A Girls at 11:00 am.  B Boys will play at 12pm and A Boys at 1pm.  The girls will leave from Weldona at 8:00 am on Saturday morning and return at approximately 1:30.  The boys will depart from Weldona at 10 and return at approximately 3:30. The Preschoolers went on a Field Trip to Morgan Lanes in Fort Morgan to enhance our Study of Balls. We were able to bowl, investigate behind the scene, plus have snack!! We are thankful to Kyle and Tyson Groves for having us and sending home a bowling pin with each Preschooler!!! Also, thank you to the volunteers who went with us!

Here are the departure times for Junior High Basketball games at Prairie on Thursday. Boys A and B teams will leave school at 3:10pm. Girls A team will leave the school at 5:00 pm. We will have to travel separately because the students will only be able to be in the gym during the games in which they are playing. The Junior High games for the week of January 18th have move around a little. We will be playing @Wiggins on Wednesday, Jan. 20th with games beginning at 4pm. We will play boys and girls A and B games. We will play at Peetz on Friday, Jan. 22 with games beginning at 4pm. We will be playing boys and girls A, B and C games. We will send out more specific information about those games as soon as we have it.

Good Afternoon Warrior Family! I wanted to give everyone an update about the Junior High basketball games at Prairie this Thursday. First of all, thank you for your patience, we have been working to make sure we can pass the most up to date and accurate information about events to all of you. In this time, that is sometimes easier said than done. Here is the schedule for the games on Thursday. 4:30 pm- Boys B team. 5:30 pm-Boys A team. 6:30 pm-Girls A-Team. At this time, each player is allowed to have 2 fans attend the game. There will be a roster at to entrance door at Prairie, with two spots for each player, you will have to sign in next to your player. While not ideal, we are happy to be able to have some fans in attendance. You will only be able to watch the games in which your player is playing. Every fan must wear a mask throughout the games. If this becomes an issue you will be asked to leave the gym. Please help to make this a good event for the kids. Calling all WV High School students interested in a job at Jackson Lake from Amy Bradenburg: Jackson Lake State Park has several job opportunities for high school students aged 16 and above. We have several positions in visitor services (working in the entrance gate, at the marina, and in the visitor center) and maintenance positions (mowing, campsite upkeep, etc). We are encouraging anyone who has an interest in the outdoors to apply. Working for Jackson Lake State Park can be a great opportunity to develop new skills in several facets. No prior experience is necessary. The positions are for the summer season, and we are able to accommodate school schedules until the summer break begins. A note from Mrs. Dunn: Centennial has received State Stimulus funding for COVID affected households. This funding is available until June 30, 2021 or until they run out, for rent/mortgage assistance. There are a couple of things that are different from the previous rounds of funding received. The first is that applications are to be submitted online, including the required documents to determine eligibility.
